Scherman blasts Elk Grove Charter Commission: 'You Guys Are Out Of Control'

The Elk Grove Charter commission was blasted by Council members Jim Cooper and Sophia Scherman at Wednesday night's city council meeting.

Most of the criticism came from the commissions overemphasis on the need to create a city prosecutors office. At one point, Scherman said "You guys are out of control."

Members of the charter commission include Jake Allen, Jimmie Johnson, Juanita Sendejas Lopez, Heather Martin, Christoper Orrock and Jake Rambo.

Rambo, a former prosecuting attorney has long stated that he would like to see the Elk Grove have it's own prosecuting attorney office.
