Elk Grove Juvenile Arrested For Stealing Car, Driving Under Influence of Marijuana

Elk Grove Police arrested a 13-year old male early Wednesday morning after he was observed driving a vehicle erratically near Stathoa Drive and Franklin High Road.

According to police reports, officers stopped the vehicle at 3:26 AM and detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officers determined the suspect had taken his grandmothers vehicle without her permission.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to juvenile hall. The stolen vehicle was returned to his grandmother.
