Elk Grove Police Conduct DUI Warrant Sweep

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, the Elk Grove Police Department conducted a DUI (driving under the influence) Warrant Sweep within the City of Elk Grove.

Officers from the Elk Grove Police Department’s Traffic Bureau, Problem Oriented Policing Unit and Patrol Division attempted to locate individuals with outstanding DUI warrants at their last known addresses.

As a result of the operation, five individuals were located and arrested for their active warrants. Those arrested and transported to the county jail include Long Tifu Ngo (DOB) 8-19-73, Cardena Horo 10-22-85, Steven Martin 2-28-83, Socorro Cruz 4-01-69 and Mohammed Khan 2-24-83.

The Elk Grove Police Department plans on additional warrant sweeps and DUI enforcement operations throughout the year.
