Investigators discovered today that Shabnam was observed on store surveillance in the town of Franklin (see new photo attached) last night. Investigators also found today clothing belonging to the victim located on a boat ramp near the 10900 block of River Road along the Sacramento River.

A U.S. Coast Guard boat crew and helicopter, along with a California Air National Guard Blackhawk helicopter are aiding in this extensive search. Sacramento Diving and Accident Rescue Teams have also been dispatched to assist.

The Elk Grove Police Department is continuing to follow up on other possible sightings of Shabnam and seeking the community’s help in locating her.
