Drunk Elk Grove Man Hassles Restaurant Employees, Spits at Cop

An Elk Grove man may have a bit to much to drink last night that resulted in his arrest.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, officers responded to a restaurant on the 8400 block of Elk Grove Blvd. on reports of an intoxicated person at the establishment. After contacting and detaining 52-year old Manuel Valdes of Elk Grove allegedly kicked the door of the police car, made threats to restaurant employees and spit at one of the officers on the scene.

The suspect was arrested and placed in a restraint device. Valdes was transferred to the county jail.
