Elk Grove Police made an arrest yesterday in what appears to be particularly vicious domestic violence incident.

According to police reports, 38-year-old Paul Fraga of Elk Grove was involved in verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation with the victim. During the altercation the suspect allegedly struck the victim in the face, grabbed the victim by her hair and pulled her to the ground where her head was smashed into the ground several times.

Responding officers located the suspect after he left the residence and was arrested. The victim suffered visible injuries and was issued an emergency protective order.

In a separate case, 18-year-old suspect Joshua Dim was arrested in a domestic violence incident last night. In this case the victim suffered visible injuries.
