Three People Robbed, Pistol Whipped in Saturday Morning Armed Robbery

Three people were robbed at gunpoint with one of the victim assaulted late Saturday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, the three victims were walking on the 8800 block of Sharkey Ave. when they were approached by three black male suspects, two who were walking and one on a bike. Two of the suspects pulled out handguns and ordered the victims to lie on the ground.

The suspects searched two of the victims and personal property was taken. A third victim, a 19-year old female, was struck in back of the head with a pistol when she attempted to call 911.

The suspects were last seen travelling on Ranch Park Drive. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 5’7”, 200 lbs, wearing a red and white button up short sleeve shirt and was armed with a handgun. The second suspect was described as a black male, who was tall and skinny and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was also armed with a handgun. The third suspect was described as being tall and was wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt.
