The competitions will feature 20 (10 male, 10 female) of the top CrossFit Athletes in California. The athletes will be paired up by drawing names just prior to the event. A team will be made up of one male and one female.
They will be competing for over $2,000 in cash and prizes. The WarriorZ Throwdown is in conjunction with a city wide fitness competition and a health and wellness fair.
The event will be held this Sunday from 8 a.m to-5 p.m. at the Bartholomew Sports Complex, 10150 Franklin High Road, Elk Grove. Admission is free.
