A West Sacramento man suspected of shoplifting was arrested Friday afternoon after he pushed and shoved employees of a retail store.

According to Elk Grove Police, 30-year old Lucion Morales was observed shoplifting at the Wal Mart store on Elk Grove Blvd. When Morales left the store with the stolen merchandise, he was approached by loss prevention employees who attempted to detain him.

Morales reportedly pushed and shoved the employees and a struggle ensued. After store employees were able to subdue Morales, he was arrested by Elk Grove Police and taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on $70,000 bail.
