Elk Grove Coach Arrested on Suspicion of 'Sexting' Teenage Girl

Elk Grove Police Department arrested a 48-year old man yesterday who allegedly sent inappropriate sex text messages to a 16-year-old girl.

According to police reports investigators determined that 48-year old Anthony Mosley had engaged in sending inappropriate text messages, and in one case, a photo that was of a sexual nature to the 16-year-old victim.

Detective have also confirmed that Mosley was actively training and coaching youth at Bartholomew Sports Park. At this time, it is unknown if there are additional victims.

Mosley is in custody at the county jail and is being held on a bail of $150,000.00 for Penal Code Sections 288.2(a) Distribution or Exhibition of Lewd Material to Minor and 288.3, Communicating with a Minor with Intent to Commit Sex Offense.

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this crime, or any knowledge of additional victims, to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060.
