Elk Grove Police arrested a Sacramento man last night after he allegedly shot a car occupied by his former girlfriend in the very early hours of Wednesday.

According to police reports, the two female victims were in a car near Heather Gate Way and Rose Point Court, when 25-year old Phillip Brown exited a car that was parked nearby, ran towards the car and began shooting the car. Brown's accomplice, 25-year old Johnathan Conner of Sacramento was in the driver's seat of the parked car.

The car was struck several times, but the victims were not hit. After shooting, Brown ran back to the car that was driven away by Conner.

Through investigative efforts, and with the assistance of the Sacramento Police Department, Conner was located yesterday afternoon in Sacramento and was arrested. Last night Brown was located at a Sacramento residence and arrested.

Both suspects remain  in custody at the county jail with bail set at $100,000 for Brown and Conner at $75,000.
