Elk Grove Police Find Suspected Drunk Motorcycle Driver Sleeping it off in Bushes

A Sacramento man who allegedly drank too much to operate a motorcycle was found napping by police after abandoning it yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to the Elk Grove and Franklin Boulevard area after receiving reports of an erratically driven motorcycle. Witnesses said the suspect dropped the motorcycle in the middle of the roadway, and walked away.

Upon arrival, officers found 59-year old Dennis Montgomery sleeping in nearby bushes. Montgomery was arrested and taken to the county jail after displaying objective signs of impairment.
