Ok, is it me or is random crime increasing??? Criminal's walking one of our main streets (Big Horn) complete with ski masks? It seems they are just wandering around looking for random victims. This really scares me. Can I send my kids to the swim center or to the soccer field and be concerned they might not make it there in one piece? I understnad crime at Walmart (it is understood crime happens at retail stores) but random attacks on people in their homes; on the streets, etc. This is starting to worry me.

It does seem that way. As any city grows, so grows crime.

You know with Elk Grove being so close to south Sacramento, it only makes sense to me that most of the criminals come from there to here. I've lived in Elk Grove for more than 20 years and it still is a nice, peaceful place overall.
