Two men were arrested Saturday afternoon after they allegedly robbed an Elk Grove man of his computer.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 59-year old victim met 20-year old Aki Armstrong and 20-year old Vidal Scott near Big Horn Boulevard and Whitelock Parkway to show an Apple laptop computer. Upon meeting, Armstrong brandished a gun while Scott displayed a knife and demanded the device and personal property.

After giving the suspects the computer, his cell phone and cash, Armstrong and Scott fled into a nearby neighborhood. Responding officers located and detained both who were positively identified by the victim.

Officers later determined the handgun brandished was an airsoft gun. Both suspects were arrested and taken to the county jail where Scott remains in custody on a $50,000 bail, and Armstrong was released yesterday.

Too bad the punks didn't crash into a concrete wall and kill themselves.
