Elk Grove Man Allegedly Interferes With Police Investigation, Gets Arrested

An Elk Grove man who police allege interfered with an investigation, was arrested last night in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police, 20-year old Devon Treadwell arrived on the 9100 block of East Stockton Boulevard where an investigation was being conducted. Police allege that Treadwell attempted to delay and obstruct the unspecified investigation.

Treadwell did not comply with instructions and took an aggressive stance towards the officers. When officers attempted to detain Treadwell, a brief struggle occurred before he was subdued. 

The suspect was arrested and taken to the county jail and has been released from custody.
