Elk Grove Police arrested a 17-year old male after he allegedly robbed a lady at knife-point late last night.

According to police reports, the 21-year old female victim was using the ATM at the Bank of America branch on Bruceville Road when she was approached by the suspect who brandished a knife and demanded money. After the victim complied and turned over her purse, the juvenile fled southbound toward a residential neighborhood. 

Responding officers found the suspect a short distance away from the bank with the stolen possessions and was positively identified by the victim. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.
