Oregon Traveler Arrested by Elk Grove Police After Refusing to Leave Hotel Room

An Oregon woman got an extended stay in Sacramento County after she refused to leave her Elk Grove hotel room yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, 27-year old Kalia Ruthstrom of Medford, Ore. was booked into a room at the Hampton Inn on Longport Drive and refused to leave after check-out time. Responding police officers contacted Ruthstrom and two other people in the room.

A consent search of the suspect led to the discovery of a controlled substances. Ruthstrom was arrested and booked into the county jail where she remains in custody ineligible for bail.

She must have a screw loose. Now she gets to see the best that Sacramento has to offer.

The problem is... They did not keep her in jail. She needs to be in PRISON.
