For the second time in two days, an Elk Grove yogurt shop was robbed at gunpoint.

According to Elk Grove Police, an armed robber held-up the Tops Yogurt shop on Sheldon Road late last night. On Wednesday night, the Tops Yogurt Shop on Bruceville Road was robbed by a gunman.

During last night's Sheldon Road incident, an unknown suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. When the store employee opened the cash register, the suspect grabbed cash and fled the store on foot.

Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect who was described as a black male adult, 5`3" to 5'7", skinny build, wearing a black and silver sweatshirt, black face mask and gray shorts. Police detectives are investigating the possibility that the two robberies are related.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.
