An Elk Grove yogurt shop was victimized last night for the second time in less than one month by a robber.

According to Elk Grove Police, an unknown male entered the Tops Yogurt shop on Bruceville Road shortly after 10 p.m, told the store employee he had a gun and demanded money. Although no gun was seen, the employee complied with the demands and gave him an undisclosed amount of currency.

The robber fled on foot and responding officers were unable to locate him. The suspect was described as a black male adult, in his 20's, 6`0", skinny build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with a black mask. The employee was not injured during the robbery.

This incident is the third time in less than one month that Tops Yogurt shops in Elk Grove have been robbed. On September 24, this store was robbed at gunpoint while the Tops store on Sheldon Road was similarly robbed the following day on September 25.

That's good yogurt. Must be a customer who know's how busy that shack is. Smart convict doing his due diligence. Cash business. Maybe lactose intolerant.

Do you want a topping with that?

Hope the cops can get a good shot at him.

Two more robberies this evening.

Time to take out the trash!
