The election is over but the war of words, or in this case, emails, continues between the campaigns of Dr. Ami Bera and Doug Ose.

With a count of mail-in and provisional ballots in Sacramento County to determine the winner of California's Seventh Congressional district underway, the campaign staffs of the two contestants continue to duke it out.

First to strike this afternoon was the Bera campaign who sent out the email posted at the top of this story. The email implies the Ose campaign is trying to subvert the count of the mail-in and provisional ballots, which the Bera campaign has asserted will push their candidate to victory.

Not to be outdone, the Ose campaign took the same email, changed a few items, and sent out their version of challenges to the ballot count. The Ose email revision seeks to invert the ballot challenge claims leveled by the Bera campaign..

The war wages on.

Brilliant idea. Just think of the millions of dollars that could have been saved if every candidate had just taken one flyer and crossed out names and inserted their own and remailed. They were mostly tossed in the trash anyway. Just think how many families could have had a warm, healthy meal with those wasted dollars....not to mention our wasted time in removing our mailing addresses & names.
