Elk Grove Police Investigating Single Vehicle Fatal Collision

At  1:56 this morning, Elk Grove Police responded to a call of a single vehicle collision on Calvine Road east of Cliffcrest Drive.    

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a red Mazda MX6 travelling eastbound on Calvine Road had driven off the roadway, over the center media, then collided with several trees.  Officers discovered that an unidentified male driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was deceased.  Identification of the deceased will be made by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
