An Elk Grove man is in custody on three charges after an alleged elder abuse and domestic violence incident.

According to Elk Grove Police, 41-year old Vincent Phillip Ilomin was involved in a verbal argument on Monday afternoon with his 67-year old mother that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, the suspect allegedly head butted, choked and pushed the victim into a wall resulting in visible injuries.

The suspect was arrested and remains in custody at the county jail with a $60,000 bail on felony domestic violence, senior abuse charges and misdemeanor charges for violation terms of his probation.
