UPDATED: Injured Victims Uncooperative in Elk Grove Shooting Investigation

Two men who were injured during a shooting incident that happened yesterday afternoon at an Elk Grove gas station are not cooperating with police.

According to Elk Grove Police, six men arrived at the AM/PM gas station on Elk Grove Boulevard and Highway 99 yesterday afternoon, and as they exited the car, two of them were immediately shot. After the shooting, the other four men left the gas station in a blue sedan and were seen heading south on Highway 99.

The two shooting victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The two men are not cooperating with the investigation.

UPDATE

Elk Grove Police have identified the two victims who refuse to cooperate with the investigation as Larry James and Christopher Jones, both 20-years old. The four other suspects who fled are all described as black male adults.
