January 16, 2015 |

An Elk Grove retail employee was punched in the face by an unknown shoplifter early Thursday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, an unknown white male was observed shoplifting merchandise shortly after midnight at the Elk Grove Boulevard Walmart store. When the suspect was approached by a loss prevention employee, the suspect punched the employee in the face and fled the store with the pilfered merchandise.

The shoplifter was described as 19 to 20 years of age, 5'6", 160-175 lbs., blonde hair and wearing a camouflage jacket.

In a separate incident last Tuesday, another Elk Grove Walmart was assaulted by unknown shoplifting suspect.

It sure is getting ghetto over there.

That piece of white trash coming in to assault employees should run out onto the freeway and get nailed.

Shoplifting, How could this be possible, especially when it’s Walmart. This is quite shocking and thanks for sharing.
