Covered California Enrollment Workshops Schedule Starting Tomorrow Thru Next Week

A series of workshops to help area residents enroll in Covered California or Medi-Cal will be held between tomorrow and the enrollment deadline on February 15. 

Sponsored by California Assembly Member Jim Cooper (D-Elk Grove), the Gender Health Center of Sacramento and Good Health for California, three workshops will be conducted to assist people navigate the enrollment process. 

The deadline for Californians to enroll for health care through Covered California is February 15. Through Covered California, individuals can compare brand name, affordable, high quality health insurance plans and choose one that's best for their family. Depending on annual income, individuals may be eligible for low or no-cost Medi-Cal or Federal Premium Assistance.
