A 15-year old girl was mugged early last night in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police, the victim was walking near Big Horn Boulevard and Longleaf Drive when she was approached by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects knocked her to the ground and punched her in the face.

The suspect then demanded the victim's wallet, and she complied. The suspect, along with his accomplice, took cash from the wallet and fled on foot.

The primary suspect was described as being white or Hispanic, 19-25 years old, 5'7", 130 lbs. and wearing a dark colored shirt with cameo pants. The accomplice was described as being white or Hispanic, 19-25 years of age, 5'5", 130 lbs., and wearing a dark hoodie.

The victim was not injured during the mugging.

Too bad they didn't trip fall and knock out their front teeth.
