A routine traffic stop last night led to the arrest of an Elk Grove woman with an outstanding arrest warrant.

According to Elk Grove Police, a records check of a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a code violation near Bruceville Road and Laguna Boulevard revealed that 55-year old Louise Anne Bruner had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest.

Bruner was taken into custody and is currently being held at the county jail for a misdemeanor charge of the California Welfare and Institutions Code 10980, fraudulent receipt of public assistance in excess of $400. Bruner is not eligible for bail.
