Two teenage boys were arrested late last night by Elk Grove Police after they were found in a reported stolen car.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to Springmont Drive and Vendure Way after receiving calls about a suspicious occupied car. Responding officers contacted four occupants in the vehicle.

A 14-year old boy from West Sacramento was the driver of the vehicle and a 16-year old Elk Grove boy was one of the occupants. A records check revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of West Sacramento and the 16-year old was found to be in possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
