A suspect wanted in a series of credit union robberies in the Sacramento area, including one in Elk Grove, has been arrested.

The Sacramento Police Department SWAT team arrested 52-year-old Glenn Reid on suspicion of three separate credit union robberies in the Sacramento area. During an investigation by the Sacramento Police Department, the FBI, and the Elk Grove Police Department, a tip from the community, led to the suspect’s identification and ultimate arrest. 

The suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon in the 6400 block of Gloria Drive in Sacramento. Reid is charged with the robbery of three Schools Financial Credit Unions in Sacramento and Elk Grove. Reid most recent robbery was on June 30 in Elk Grove.

Reid is being held at the county jail on a $250,000 bail and will be arraigned this afternoon.

The idiot was on a cell phone at the time of the robbery.

Shouldn't have been too hard to determine his identity unless he was using a Ghetto throw away phone.

Now the taxpayers are going to have to pay for his health care costs as he ages.
