A Lathrop man who was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident at an Elk Grove residence, was arrested Tuesday night after he also confronted his victim at work.

According to Elk Grove Police, 34-year old John Jenkins was involved in domestic violence incident that was initially unreported by the victim. In that incident, Jenkins allegedly grabbed his victim by the arm and pushed the victim into a wall.

While the victim was at work, Jenkins showed up and pushed the victim into a wall and slapped the victim in the face resulting in a visible injury. The victim was granted an emergency protective order.

Jenkins was located and arrested by the Stockton Police Department and was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Jenkins was transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail by EGPD officers where he remains in custody on a $70,000 bail.
