Elk Grove Police served warrants at four Elk Grove residences that resulted in the arrests of five people suspected of running a marijuana growing operation.

The warrants were served on the 4900 block of Chamberlin Circle, 10000 block of Wexted Way, 9600 block of Iris Meadow Way, and 5900 block of Livorno Way related to an indoor marijuana growing operation. The raids led to the discovery of over 500 marijuana plants and over $20,000 in cash.

The suspects arrested include 61-year old Pang Wu, 35-year old Hao Wu, 51-year old Seung Wu, 62-year old Jie Hu, and 66-year old Zhang Hu. All suspects are in custody at the county jail and are ineligible for bail. 

The raids and arrests as a result of investigative efforts of EGPD's Street Crimes Unit.
