Rancho Cordova Council Member Raises Over $22,000 in Campaign Funding

As the newest member of the Rancho Cordova City Council, Donald Terry led all five council members in fundraising efforts during the first six months of 2015.

According to required California Financial 460 disclosure forms filed with the Ranch Cordova City Clerk's office, Terry raised $22,074.  Terry started the six month period with $468 and after paying expenses, showed a cash balance of $11,083.

Among the significant contributions Terry received during the period were the following:
  • California Real Estate Political Action Committee - $2,500
  • Elliot Homes - $2,500
  • Angelo Tsakopoulos and Affiliated Entities - $1,750 
  • Republic Services - $1,000
  • Schetter Electric - Electrical Contractor - $1,000
  • Gencorp - $1,000
  • Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 447 - $750
  • Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 - $750
  • Angelo Christie and Affiliated Entities - $750
  • Atlas Disposal LLC - $500
  • California AT&T Employees PAC - $500
  • Cordova Hills LLC - $500
  • Committee for Home Ownership, North State Building Industry Association - $500
  • Cresleigh Homes - $500
  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 340 - $500
  • Patrick Kennedy for Sacramento County Supervisor - $500
  • Local Laborers Local 185 - $500

Terry, considered an up-and-coming prospect for local Democrats, contributed $1,000 to Eric Guerra's successful campaign for the Sacramento City Council District 6 seat. 

Among notable expenses, Terry held two campaign events, both of which were held in Washington D.C. On March 10 a meeting was held Ezme Restaurant and Wine Bar and the other on April 21 at Rose's Luxury.
