When the Elk Grove City Council convenes next week, they will have a very short meeting.

According to the agenda posted this afternoon, aside from the consent calendar and one presentation, the council will have only one action item to discuss. That item will be to consider an appointment to the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito Vector Control District.

Wednesday's meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Elk Grove City Hall. The entire agenda can be viewed here.

What wonderful news, we get a breather.

I was just reading about Angelique Ashby's statement in her possible run for Mayor. “The city is not as nimble as an individual, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to change our trajectory every four years,” Ashby said. “You don’t need to dream another big dream. You have to finish this dream…Then we win.”

Wouldn't this be great if we had some electeds who had those thoughts? Finish one dream...then we win!
