Three Elk Grove juveniles were apprehended yesterday morning after they allegedly stole electronics and firearms during a residential burglary.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers were dispatched to the 9200 block of Guillermina Court regarding an in-progress burglary and the reporting person advised that two males had entered the residence through the garage door while a third person stood outside. The witness stated that the three suspects had fled from the home and were driving away in a white Honda. The witness provided a license plate number to dispatch that was relayed to responding officers.

Officers located the described vehicle traveling eastbound on Seasons Drive and conducted a vehicle stop. The three occupants matched the description provided by the witness and were detained.

Officers recovered firearms and electronics in the trunk of the vehicle. The resident of the burglarized home responded to the scene and indicated that the property in the trunk was his. The three male suspects, ages 11, 16 and 17 (Elk Grove residents) were taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.

Thugs. The 11 year old must have been with a sibling. What's going on in that house?

Wanna bet they won't try it again?

Break in the wrong house and they will end up with their guts splattered on the walls.

Kudos to the neighbor. Reported it and even had the license plate. Thanks for all you did.

Give them a slap in the arm and let those kids out of juvenile center. It's bad enough that their parents are lousy, but now they have a bad rap sheet. Home burglary fail? How will they sleep at night? Black lives matter folks.
