Elk Grove Firefighters, Police Officers Reach-out To In-need Families For Christmas Toy Project

Elk Grove Christmas Toy Drive

November 16, 2015 |

As part of their annual outreach, officers from the Elk Grove Police Department and firefighters from the Cosumnes Community Services District will be conducting their 20th Annual Toy Project. Through their efforts last year, the volunteers from the respective departments delivered toys to over 500 kids in 200 Elk Grove and Wilton families.

Before the Christmas toys can be distributed, the volunteers need help locating those who qualify for assistance. More information on qualifications and where to apply, is available here or by calling (916) 478-8122.

In addition to the toys, the firefighters and police officers are teaming with the Salvation Army to provide families with a box of food.
