DEVELOPING STORY

November 19, 2015 |

In documents released yesterday by the City of Elk Grove following a public records information request, it was disclosed that Elk Grove Police Chief Robert Lehner ordered a forensic audit of the Elk Grove Police Activities League (PAL).

The PAL has suffered setbacks after the Elk Grove City Council did not consider an appropriation  for the organization in community block development grants earlier this year and following an EGPD internal affairs investigation after a complaint was filed by former PAL volunteer football coach Charles Washington against former PAL Athletics Director and Elk Grove Police Officer Manual Saenz.

More details to follow.
