Three People Arrested in Suspected Elk Grove Pot House Operation

Elk Grove Police arrested three people yesterday afternoon after they were served with search warrants for a suspected pot growing operation.

According to police reports, the warrants were served on the 8700 block of Heathermist Way in Elk Grove's Camden neighborhood in relation to a marijuana growing operation. Police detained Elk Grove residents 62-year old William Morrison (pictured above), 52-year old Stacey Morrison and 51-year old Michael Smith.

The search led to the discovery of a grow operation, indicia of sales along and processed marijuana. All three suspects are being held at the county jail on $30,000 bail, but are not eligible for release.

First time white people have shown up as pot house operators in a long time in Elk Grove.
