Elk Grove Bank Robbed by Suspect Claiming to Have Gun

An Elk Grove bank was robbed Friday afternoon by a suspect claiming to have a gun.

According to Elk Grove Police, an unknown suspect entered the Chase Bank on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road, handed a note to a teller demanding money, and indicated he had a gun. The teller complied with the demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the bank on foot and was last seen running southbound towards Brown Road. The suspect was described as a Black male adult, approximately 6' tall, 220 lbs., wearing a blue pullover jacket, a black turtle neck with sparkles, a black beanie, and black work out gloves. 

The teller was not injured during the robbery.

What macho bank robber would buy a shirt with sparkles unless he is the tooth fairy.
