Photos of Elk Grove Bank Robber Released

Elk Grove Police released photographs of a suspect wanted in a bank robbery.

On Friday, December 18, an unknown suspect (pictured below) entered the Chase Bank on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road, handed a note to a teller demanding money, and indicated he had a gun. The teller complied with the demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the bank on foot and was last seen running southbound towards Brown Road. The suspect was described as an African-American male, approximately 40-years of age, six feet two inches tall (6’2”), 220 lbs. The suspect had short dark hair and was wearing a beige beanie with a dark rim, sunglasses, a blue windbreaker with a white logo on the left chest area, a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black workout gloves and black/white athletic shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.

good luck finding this guy. he is longgggg gone. i dont know why these banks have such shitty security camera. with all that money you'd think they invest in 1080P quality.

How about a double door, airlock. First door has a metal detector and will only enable/unlock the second door if no metal larger than belt buckle is detected. I am a genius!

I think I've seen that guy. He usually hangs out in front of the liquor store on Martin Luther Kings Blvd and Franklin Blvd.
