Veteran Elk Grove Council Member Reports No Fundraising Activities in 2015

January 31, 2016 |

In reports submitted on January 29 with the City Clerk's office, Elk Grove City Councilman Pat Hume filed his financial disclosure reports for the six months ending December 31, 2015.

The six-month report showed no fundraising activities for Hume, nor any for the entire year. Hume ended the year with $37,721 and did not have any expenditures.

Unlike his fellow council members, Hume has not engaged in any fundraising activities since the period ending September 30, 2014, when he raised $23,488. As one of two longest tenured council members, Hume did not face an opponent for his 2014 reelection.

The filing deadline is January 31, but because it falls on a Sunday, it has been extended to 5 p.m. on Monday, February 1. As of Friday afternoon, Mayor Gary Davis, Vice Mayor Steve Ly and Councilman Darren Suen have not filed their reports.

Once all City Councilmen file their reports, check Elk Grove News for a special announcement.

I guess Hume broke away from "The Mentor" on this one and decided not to bleed the developers dry!

Isn't Hume a developer himself? Why would the developer community need to pay him off. He always votes for whatever they want anyway.
