Woman Pistol-Whipped, Robbed at Gunpoint in Elk Grove

A woman was robbed at gunpoint and assaulted early Friday morning in Elk Grove.

The victim was walking on the 8100 block of Sheldon Road around 1:30 a.m. when she was confronted by two unknown suspects who exited a black four door sedan. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her personal property.

After complying with the demands, the victim was struck several times in the head by the gunman. The victim suffered visible injuries that required medical attention.

Both suspects fled the location in the black vehicle. The suspect who assaulted the victim was described as a Black male adult, 6’0”, with short “dreds” and was wearing a dark jacket with jeans.
