Elk Grove Vice Mayor Steve Ly was accused of violating the City's Code of Ethics at Wednesday night's City Council meeting.

The accusation was voiced by Elk Grove resident and former Planning Commissioner Paul Lindsay during public comment on non-agenda items. Lindsay asserted Ly's rendering of an Elk Grove Vice Mayoral seal used in his announcement that he was running for Mayor violated the City's Code of Ethics adopted in 2005.
