The Salvation Army of Sacramento County will accept Christmas assistance applications from Saturday, October 8 through Saturday, October 29. The three-week sign-up period will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All qualified applicants will receive food assistance during the holiday season, but only families with children age 0-12 can qualify for the Angel Tree toy program.

Christmas Assistance Sign-Up Information
Tuesday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Closed on Mondays)
· The Salvation Army Family Services- 3213 Orange Grove Ave, North Highlands

Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· 10/08 St Mark’s United Methodist Church- 2391 St Marks Way, Sacramento
· 10/15 The Salvation Army Family Services- 3213 Orange Grove Ave, North Highlands
· 10/22 Arcade Church- 3927 Marconi Ave. Sacramento, Ca 95821
· 10/29 The Salvation Army Korean Corps- 10370 Old Placerville Rd. #107 Sacramento

Tuesday, 10/18 to Thursday, 10/16: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· The Salvation Army Sacramento Citadel Corps Community Center- 2550 Alhambra Blvd. Sacramento, Ca 95817

To apply, an individual must have the following:
· Birth certificate (or green card) or report card for each child
· Current Cal-Works “Aid verification Summary” card and Current photo I.D. from the head of the household and person applying.
· One from each of the following categories: Proof of ID (state I.D., driver’s license, picture I.D.), proof of residence (rent receipt, current utility bill) or proof of income (paycheck stub, SSI verification, student aid verification)
