Sacramento DA Will Not File Kidnapping Charges Against Elk Grove Man

The Sacramento District Attorney's office has determined it will not file charges against an Elk Grove man accused of kidnapping pending further investigation. 

On the late afternoon of Monday, November 14, at the request of Solano County Child Protective Services Elk Grove Police officers conducted a welfare check regarding a teenage girl. An officer contacted 28-year old Rodney Green on the 4600 block of Story Way.

The girl was found hiding in a closet in the master bedroom. Green was arrested and booked into the county jail on suspicion of kidnapping and false imprisonment. 

After arresting and booking Green into the county jail, an investigation determined the teenage girl was an acquaintance and willingly joined him.
