Driver Flees Elk Grove Crash That Left Passenger Dead

Elk Grove Police are investigating a vehicle accident last night that killed a passenger and where the driver fled the scene.

The accident occurred on the 9300 block of West Stockton Boulevard when an SUV crashed through a retaining fence and onto the should of southbound Highway 99. When Elk Grove Police arrived at the scene they determined the driver of the SUV left the scene.

The passenger in the vehicle died as a result of the crash. Police are seeking to locate the driver of the vehicle. 

The Sacramento County Coroner has identified the victim as 21-year old Juan Pablo Guzman of Elk Grove.
