Elk Grove Man Arrested For Fleeing Injury Accident, Impaired Driving

An Elk Grove man was arrested last night after he allegedly fled a vehicle injury-accident where he was driving under the influence.

According to Elk Grove Police, Hunter Scribner, 21, was operating a vehicle that was involved in a two vehicle collision that injured one of his passengers. When officers arrived at Bruceville Road and Quail Run Lane, the passenger had sustained visible injuries and Scribner had fled the scene.

The passenger was transported to an area hospital for treatment and officers were able to locate Scribner at a nearby residence. Upon contact, Scribner displayed objective signs of impairment, was arrested, booked into the county jail and has been released on bail.
