Man Cited For Stealing Christmas Tree From Fire Station

Stockton, Calif. - Playing a contra- Santa Claus, a Stockton man was arrested for allegedly stealing a decorated Christmas Tree from a fire station.

at 4:30 this morning, Stockton Fire Engine 2 was returning to their station on West Sonora in the Seaport District when they observed a subject walking away fro their building carrying a decorative tree display.  Upon arriving at the firehouse they saw their tree display was missing and returned to detain the suspect. 

Stockton Police arrived and took him into custody. Joshua Ambrose, 35, was cited for theft and possession of stolen property.
