Probationer, Accomplice Arrested by Elk Grove Police on Weapons, Drug Charges

Two men were arrested last night after they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics and a loaded gun.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the 5200 block of Deepdale Way in the north Laguna area regarding a suspicious vehicle occupied by two people. Responding officers observed 36-year old Thomas David Wilson of Sacramento and 32-year old Jordan Allan Ward of Elk Grove in the vehicle and that Ward was known to be on probation.

When contacted, Ward reportedly did not comply with instructions and was detained. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm under the driver's seat, narcotics, and narcotics paraphernalia.

Both suspect were arrested and booked into the county jail where they remain in custody. Ward is being held on $20,000 bail and Wilson has bail set at $10,000
