Elk Grove Police released photos today of the suspect wanted in connection to a bank robbery last week in Elk Grove. 


On  Friday, January 13, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the suspect pictured above entered the Farmers & Merchants Bank located on Elk Grove Boulevard and approached a teller and gave a note demanding money. After the bank employee complied, the suspect exited the bank and was last seen walking out of the front entrance. 

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’9”, 200 lbs.  The suspect was wearing a dark-colored beanie cap and had a mustache and full beard which was possibly fake. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black work boots, and had clear safety glasses hanging from his neck area.  

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).  Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.  Tips can also be sent to EGPD via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
