Elk Grove Police Arrest Parolee on Pimping, Pandering of Minor at Sacramento Hotel

Elk Grove Police made an arrest this weekend for pimping and pandering related to a missing Elk Grove female juvenile believed to be involved in prostitution. 

Shortly after midnight on Saturday, February 25, Elk Grove Police officer conducted a follow-up investigation on the 300 block of Bercut Drive in Sacramento regarding the missing female juvenile. Officers contacted Damarea Marquel Jones (pictured above), who was on parole.

Jones was arrested on suspicion of pimping, pandering, and unlawful sexual intercourse charges. Officer also located a video displaying Jones in possession of a handgun with a high capacity magazine. 

The suspect is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail and is being held on $575,000 bail but is not eligible for release because of a parole violation. Jones is charged with felony pandering, pimping a minor older than 16 years of age, possession of a firearm as a felon, and misdemeanor unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28.

Once the casino is up and running, I wonder how much juvenile prostitution and sex trafficking, much less on the adult side, will Elk Grove experience? So much for Gary and Heather Davis's advocacy against sexual exploitation.
